The Shed House are experts when it comes to Noosa Council's building rules and regulations. When building a Granny Flat in the Noosa Shire, there is a 65m² total GFA allowable, as stated in the Noosa 2020 Plan.  Boundary set-backs are in accordance with the individual zoning of the block, and there is no distance requirement from the main house.  In addition, you are required to provide one on-site car park, plus the number already required for the existing dwelling. There is a maximum of two bedrooms allowed on the plan. We encourage you to take a read through the current planning scheme here
